Dear Sir:

The Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) Central Philippine University in collaboration with American Corner Iloilo is conducting a Culminating Program for the students in Class LIS 315- Library and Information Management with the theme “Library as a Space for Interaction and Engagement.”

This program was prepared to enhance the knowledge of prospective librarians/ information specialists on ways to make information delivery and library management more interactive. This activity will be held on Saturday – October 12, 2013 from 8:30 am – 11:30 am at the American Corner Iloilo , 3rd floor Henry Luce III Library with about 40 attendees comprised of BLIS and Master of Library and Information Science students.

Considering your expertise and experience as a proactive librarian, with my personal knowledge of your blogsite and skills to use the web 2.0 tools, can you be our resource person to talk about  "Blogging for Libraries" at 10:00 am?

I am looking forward for your favorable response. We hope that with diverse perspective of seasoned library leaders in Western Visayas, we can amplify the learning experience of our students.
Thank you very much.

Sincerely

REYSA C. ALENZUELA, MLIS, PH.D.
LIS 315 INSTRUCTOR
